Kody Keplinger decided today would be a good day to celebrate agents, and all they do for us. I don't know Kody, but I agree with her. So do a bunch of my writing acquaintances here on LJ and at Verla Kay's blueboards.

So, in honor of Agent Man (the awesome Josh Getzler, formerly of Writers House but now with Russell and Volkening, Inc. [for those who didn't get that announcement]), I say Happy Unofficial Official Agent Appreciation Day!

What I love about my agent is:

1) He puts up with me. (I'm serious about this.)
2) He is amazing when it comes to editorial feedback. He knows his stuff.
3) I can always count on getting quick replies to my thousands of emails. He is great at keeping in touch with me.
4) He knows all the cool editors.
5) He believes in my book, and in me.

I feel so lucky to be able to work with him.
